Last Night

Day Four of New House Week.  Check.

The night before we move into the dwelling where we will reside for the next 25+ years is also the last night in our cozy, little one bedroom.  Granted, I've been in this apartment for six months and T's been here for 13, it still has sentimental value.  There may be a teeny tiny part of me that is sad.  Teeny tiny, but not much more than that.

In our cozy, little one bedroom I can hear T from anywhere.  When I go to bed early, he's still just a few feet away.  In the morning while I'm getting ready, he's sitting on the couch watching SportsCenter.  I can see his every move; he can see mine.  We're a little nervous about the size of our new house.  I told him I'm going to lose him in it and that we'll need walkie talkies.  I already know it's going to swallow the cat.

We're packed.  Cars are loaded.  Our cozy, little one bedroom has been wonderful and we definitely made memories here.  Although we're a little nervous about what's to come, we couldn't be happier.
